Preventive maintenance offers peace of mind to homeowners and tenants alike and can even sometimes be required for warranty validation. A routine once-or-twice-a-year service of your home’s A/C system will help prevent or slow the rate at which algae and biofilm accumulates in your condensate pan and drain line. Often times we will recommend that once per year is enough but particularly in older homes with underground drain lines or especially homes with lots of pets, a second visit to clear and treat your drain may be beneficial.

While complete prevention cannot be guaranteed, you can significantly reduce the risk of a leak or untimely issue by performing routine maintenance and staying on top of your filter changes. Our maintenance also includes a recording of your refrigerant pressures, visual inspection of coils, and electrical readings to make sure everything is running as it should and let you know if it’s not.
